    Maria is co-CEO of TMF Group, having held the role since 2003.

    She joined TMF Nederland B.V. in 1995 as Team Supervisor, and subsequently Managing Director, before being appointed CEO. During her time at the top she has spearheaded the expansion of TMF Group into a truly global organization, overseeing major growth in both the size and reach of the business.

    As CEO, Maria steered TMF Group through its growth under the ownership of PPM Capital (latterly Silverfleet) from 2004-08, and the acquisition of the business by private equity investor Doughty Hanson in 2008. The company has made approximately 70 acquisitions during her tenure.

    Maria began her career in 1981 working for the Department for Development Co-operation in the former Netherlands Antilles, before joining Price Waterhouse Vooren (now PwC) from 1986 to 1989 as a corporate lawyer.

    She moved on to become Managing Director and Group General Counsel of LET Europe N.V. (a subsidiary of London & Edinburgh Trust plc), and simultaneously a Director of German City Estates (now European City Estates).

  • Hugo van Vredenburch

    Co-CEO


    Hugo is co-CEO of TMF Group, a role he has held since September 2010.

    Hugo began his career in 1989, working for Tokyo Pacific Holdings in Japan as an analyst and subsequently General Manager and CIO.

    He joined Goldman Sachs & Co in 1992, holding a variety of roles over a 13-year period, including heading up the Equities Division in Japan, COO of the Global Equities Division and co-leadership of the Pan-European Equities Franchise. Prior to leaving in 2005, he was a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs & Co.

    Hugo joined Equity Trust in 2005 as CEO, serving in this position until August 2009.

  • Frederik van Tuyll
    Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asia



     

     

    Frederik has an extensive background and career in international financial and business planning, which spans more than 20 years.

    Frederik joined Equity Trust in 1994 and was centrally involved in the company’s expansion, both organically and through acquisition, playing a vital role in its development and success. He served as CEO of Equity Trust’s Asia Pacific region, and subsequently as Deputy CEO at a global level, before being appointed to the CEO role in September 2009.

    He took up his role of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asia for TMF on the day of merger in June 2011.

  • Pernille Fabricius
    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)



     

     

    Pernille took on the role of Chief Financial Officer for TMF Group in 2005 and has been instrumental in the company's development and strategic planning.

    From 2001-2005 she was CFO and board member at TNS Nordic Group, prior to which she was CFO and board member of GN Netcom Group.

    From 1994-2001, Pernille held multiple positions including Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance and HR for ISS Group. Between 1988 and 1994, she was auditor and tax manager at Arthur Andersen.

    Pernille holds an MSc in Accounting, Audit and Tax, an MSc in Finance, an MBA and an LLM in European Union Law. She writes regular articles on business-related topics and has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen.
