August 2012. TMF Group has opened an office in Bangalore. The Bangalore office is the third TMF office in India, adding to our presence in Mumbai and Dehli.
Bangalore is the third-most populous city in India with an urban region including over 8.5 million residents. The city is the hub of India’s IT industry, attracting many international players in science, high tech manufacturing, and software development. It is an emerging centre for biotechnology and research, and is fast becoming a destination of choice for large conglomerates in the financial services, consumer, and retail industries.
Known as the Garden City of India, thanks to its many green spaces, Bangalore is a well-connected city, among the top 10 preferred entrepreneurial locations in the world, and predicted to be one of the next decade’s fastest growing cities in the world. It is home to a young and educated population and many respected educational and cultural institutions.
Commenting on the expansion to Bangalore, Nitin Shingala, Regional Director India, said, ‘With the setting up of this new office in Bangalore, TMF extends its reach in India and strengthens its ability to serve global clients in one of the country’s fastest growing and vibrant cities.’
The new office will be led by Chandra Prakash, known as ‘CP’ to colleagues and clients. CP is a qualified accountant with nearly 20 years of experience in finance and outsourcing, with clients across Asia, Europe, and Americas. He brings with him a wealth of experience in project management, relationship management, and finance control. CP joined TMF Group in April 2012 saying ‘I am extremely excited to start my TMF journey in Bangalore. I am looking forward to working with many fascinating colleagues and clients and to expanding the Bangalore office.’
