BEPS resources

Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) aims to deal with gaps and mismatches in tax rules.

The OECD and G20 countries and more than a dozen developing countries have participated directly in the work, and more than 80 non-OECD, non-G20 jurisdictions have provided input into the development of the 15 BEPS actions.

These 15 actions provide guidelines for governments on how to deal with BEPS. It is up to the countries to use these tools and develop laws to improve the fairness and integrity of tax systems.

BEPS Actions

The OECD/G20 BEPS project provides governments with solutions for modernising international tax rules. More information about BEPS and the 15 BEPS Actions can be found on the OECD website.

Implementation of BEPS related measures

For more information on the implementation of BEPS in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, two briefings have been developed which describe the current, and some planned, developments in each country.

As every government can make different decisions it is important to understand in detail what each country decides to implement and by when, in order to ensure full compliance with local law.
