It is an annual obligation for all employers in Singapore to prepare the year-end reporting to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). The tax clearance reporting is also mandatory for all non-local employees who are ceasing employment or departing from Singapore.

We will be sharing some key considerations in preparing the year-end forms and tax clearance, including upcoming changes in treatment of certain employee benefits, which will be effective from January 2020.

  • Shin Ee Gwee, Director of HR and Payroll, TMF Singapore

Shin Ee Gwee is the Head of HR & Payroll at TMF Singapore. She joined TMF Group in 2016 as the Operations Associate Director. She was also the Local Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at TMF Singapore before moving on to HR & Payroll in 2018.

Shin Ee spent over a decade as a management consultant, working with organisations across industries in APAC on business process improvement, shared services design and implementation, project management and organisation re-design.

Shin Ee holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol, UK.

  • Hui Yin Yeo, Director of Accounting & Tax, TMF Singapore

Hui Yin Yeo is the Head of Accounting & Tax at TMF Singapore and has more than 19 years of experience in audit, commercial practice and outsourcing, with exposure in IFRS and US GAAP reporting.

She has worked with many international clients and has experience in the full accounting spectrum which includes but not limited to accounting/ financial reporting, consolidation, financial audits etc. Prior to joining TMF, she heads the Business Outsourcing division of BDO Corporate Services Pte Ltd.

Hui Yin is a member of  the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
