2019 will be the 29th running of the Island Walk where it will continue the great tradition of what has become one of the island's largest one-day fund raising events. The tough challenge, along with the beauty of the route that passes along Jersey's beautiful coastline, sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs and stunning countryside makes this a fundraising event with a difference.

This year, the Island Walk will be held on Saturday, 22 June 2019. The starting point for all walks is Elizabeth Harbour Ferry Terminal at the Waterfront, St. Helier at 3am.

The event is split into three categories:

  • Main Walk (48 miles) - for those who relish the physical challenge.
  • Lieutenant Governor's Challenge (13 miles) - ideal for those with young families, or less of an appetite to conquer all 48 miles.
  • Relay (48 miles) - for teams of four to take on the main walk (12 miles each).

Since the event’s inception in 1991, over 170 local charities have benefited from donations exceeding £2.3 Million - a few small steps making a BIG difference.

Our colleagues have been participating in the walk since 1991, contributing towards this cause and we look forward to supporting the Island Walk this year and encourage you to participate.
