2018 Year-End Knowledge Networking: Understanding the Latest Changes to the Singapore Employment Act

TMF Singapore is hosting a knowledge networking session for HRP's co-managed clients who are using our Prosoft system but not our HRP outsource services. As the services are performed by the clients themselves, this will equip them with the necessary knowledge for year-end activities and tax reporting.

This annual knowledge networking will aim to:

  • Guide clients on how to do closing for Leave and Claim modules
  • Prepare them for tax reporting for the upcoming Year of Assessment (YA)
  • Renew and enhance relationship with clients by meeting them face-to-face.
  • Share new knowledge such as statutory updates and Prosoft system updates.
  • Promote other TMF services to clients

Hsuan Boon graduated from Oxford University in 2001 and was admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2003. Currently, he is a partner at Wee Swee Teow LLP.

Hsuan Boon has developed his practice with a specialisation in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration. He has represented clients in contentious court proceedings and arbitration disputes under Singapore International Arbitration Centre Rules. He represents clients in negotiating and drafting a variety of corporate agreements, including transfers of businesses and undertakings, joint ventures and restructuring of companies

He also regularly provides corporate advice to a broad spectrum of businesses and business owners, from start-ups to large family-owned businesses. Hsuan Boon also has experience advising on employment disputes, defamation claims and criminal cases. He also volunteers his expertise as part of the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme.
