Dr Rajiv Kumar – Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, Government of India
Dr Kumar took over as Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, in the rank of a Cabinet Minister, on 1 September 2017. His earlier stint in Government of India (1989-1994) was initially with the Ministry of Industry and subsequently in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, as Economic Adviser (1991-1994). Dr Kumar has a Ph.D. in Economics from Lucknow University and a D. Phil from Oxford University.
Mark Weil – CEO, TMF Group
Mark worked as a consultant for two decades, across Europe, North America and Asia. He rose to become a partner at Oliver Wyman, where he ran the global Retail Banking practice. Following this he became Marsh’s CEO, UK and Ireland, and during his tenure it became the largest insurance broker in the UK. Mark has a degree in Engineering from University of Cambridge.
Raman Sidhu – CEO, EBG Federation India
Raman is CEO of European Business Group Federation, India. He is also the Senior Adviser at the Accord Group India and an Independent Director on the board of Selan Exploration Technology Ltd. as well of Cremica Food Industries Ltd. in India. Raman is also one of the 4 Life Trustees of Foundation for Aviation & Sustainable Tourism and a Co-Founder and Past President of the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI). He has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of G4S, Deutsche Postbank Home Finance, BHEL, NHPC, IIFCL & NTC Ltd. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.
Kamal Bali - President & Managing Director at Volvo Group, India
Kamal has been spearheading reputed Indian & multi-national organisations as President & CEO for two decades now. He is currently the President & Managing Director of Volvo Group, India, a role that he took on in April 2014. Kamal is based in Bangalore, is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, and has an illustrious career spanning 40 years, largely in automotive and engineering industry.
In December 2019, Kamal was Knighted and awarded one of Sweden’s highest honours in the Royal Order of the “Polar Star: Commander” by Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Sweden for his untiring support to the Swedish commerce & industry in India. Respected for his values’ based leadership and strong ethos, he is also the recipient of the prestigious “2019 Machinist Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Times of India Group for his outstanding contribution in the field of Manufacturing. Featured in '2021 Star List' by The Machinist publication and felicitated as one of the Top Industry Leaders in India. Felicitated with Economic Times Inspiring CEO 2021 Award. A thought leader, Kamal also wears governing council and board of director hats with distinguished institutions from industry, academia and public sector.
Shagun Kumar -Managing Director, South East Asia and Head of Business Development APAC
Shagun Kumar, a business leader with over 23 years of experience and a proven track record in driving transformation, unlocking growth – organic and inorganic, managing profitability, forming and inspiring teams to achieve sustainable results. Shagun’s expertise ranges from multinational structured environments to medium sized enterprises, across emerging markets with diverse cultures. Shagun has significant international exposure and he leveraged this to adapt and inspire local performance while delivering on corporate priorities.
Shagun wears two hats: as a Managing Director for South East Asia in TMF Group, Shagun is responsible for creating vision and implementation of strategies. As the Head of Business Development of APAC, his team is on point to identify new opportunities and clients to serve and grow. Prior to joining TMF Group, Shagun spent half of his career consulting for Anderson, General Electronics and Microsoft. His experience includes leading business enabling functions and consulting across sectors like power, infrastructure, real estate, hardware, manufacturing, food & beverage, private equity and he sits on the boards of several MNCs’ clients as Independent Director.
