Asher Harris is a tax attorney in private practice who focuses on the insurance and reinsurance industries, including mergers and acquisitions, captive insurance companies, federal excise tax, and state premium taxes. He received the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, and Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. His previous employers include Swiss Reinsurance Company and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
