Dutch Ambassador attends 1st anniversary of TMF Group in Qatar

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Qatar, H.E. Mrs. Yvette van Eechoud and 70 invited guests and dignitaries including many of TMF Group Qatar’s valued clients, attended a celebratory reception at the Hilton in West Bay on 15th April.

The event was a chance to meet and connect in a relaxed environment while celebrating the past year’s successes, and plans for the future.

Julian Dietz, Managing Director of TMF Group UAE and Qatar said: “It has been a fast year, an exciting one. TMF Group continues to grow and expand its reach and our development in the region is crucial to this. Qatar has opened up a new market for us and we are well positioned to continue to assist our existing clients as well as many new and potential clients.  We plan to grow the business within the region - particularly in Qatar - increasing our reach with the application of a QFC license. We thank everyone for joining us in celebrating this one year anniversary: we hope that the coming years will be as fruitful.”

H.E. Mrs. Yvette van Eechoud said: “In less than a year, the Dutch TMF Group has established itself as a solid service provider of great value to international companies entering and expanding in the Qatari market. As we know, market entry in Qatar can be a complex and time consuming process, but with the right support and advice - companies can be operational pretty quickly. I am sure TMF Group will continue to grow at a fast pace in the year ahead, as many Dutch and other global companies look to Qatar to establish their offices.”

TMF Group has been operating in the Middle East for a decade, with offices in Dubai and Doha. However, the group has more than 120 offices worldwide in over 80 countries. It provides critical business services such as company establishment and corporate secretarial services, also accounting, and HR and payroll services.
