28 January 2016

TMF Group, one of the world’s leading providers of global business services, is pleased to confirm its support to Marie Curie as its UK Charity for 2016.

This partnership is in complement to TMF Group’s worldwide CSR strategy for 2016 to provide fundraising and support to local hospice services across all 80 countries in which it operates.

“Each and every one of us will by touched by terminal illness; be it through a friend, a loved one or from a terminal diagnosis of our own,” explained Frederik van Tuyll, CEO of TMF Group. “Marie Curie provides invaluable support to people with terminal illnesses and their loved ones, and it is an honour to be able to help them raise much needed funds for their hospices, nurses and support services.”

Sue Lawrence, Managing Director of TMF UK, added: “It’s an honour to be supporting such a well-respected and dedicated charity. The work that Marie Curie undertakes is exceptional and we are keen to be able to contribute to their work across the United Kingdom in as many ways as possible.”

Marie Curie has been providing care and support for people living with terminal illness, and their families for over 65 years.

Dr Jane Collins, CEO of Marie Curie continued: “We are delighted that TMF Group has chosen to support Marie Curie. Last year we cared for over 40,000 people and with TMF Group’s reach and commitment to working with us on some ambitious fundraising projects, we are excited about what we can achieve together to help support even more people affected by terminal illness.”
