We continue to monitor the evolution of the Covid-19 outbreak, and update our response in line with guidance from the WHO, the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, and local government advisories. Our Covid Working Group meet daily to assess risk to our employees, clients and business operations, and to recommend appropriate action. They also issue regular communication and guidelines to staff.
Earlier this week we implemented flexible working arrangements for employees in Italy, Spain, France and Germany, in addition to the existing arrangements for China, Singapore and Hong Kong. Our IT infrastructure has been extended to support remote working across our networks.
All non-critical business travel has been postponed at this time, and travel restrictions remain for China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan and Italy. Starting on Tuesday 10th March we added France, Germany and Spain to the restricted travel list, meaning employees cannot travel into or out of those countries until further notice. Should clients in those countries require our staff to travel or be present at in-person meetings, please reach out to your regular TMF Group contact to discuss this on a case-by-case basis.
We remain vigilant regarding workplace cleanliness through regular disinfection, and clear guidelines have been issued to all employees to ensure protection and prevention. Fortunately, none of our employees or their families have been infected by the virus and our client operations continue without interruption.
Following the stabilization of the rate of infection in China and Hong Kong, our employees in those locations have resumed office work and adopted office rotation arrangements to reduce the risk of possible exposure.
