Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 18th March

18 March 2020

Dear clients and business partners,

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on businesses, economies and individuals. In order to keep you updated the evolving situation, and to share insight on managing and mitigating risk, we have launched a Covid-19 webpage here: https://www.tmf-group.com/en/news-insights/coronavirus/

Meantime, we continue to monitor and update our response in line with guidance from the WHO, the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, and local government advisories.

Earlier this week we extended a complete international travel ban to all employees. Any in-country travel must be in-line with local government advice. Where face to face meetings are considered critical, we have implemented a Visitor Declaration Form process. If you are due to visit a TMF Group office, you will receive an email containing a link to a short survey confirming your health status and recent travel. The information will be deleted after 30 days. These precautions are to safeguard the health of our clients and our employees alike.

Flexible working arrangements have been implemented at many of our offices across TMF Group, in line with government guidelines. These include a combination of staggered working patterns in the office and remote working arrangements. Our IT infrastructure has been extended and strengthened to support flexible working across our networks.

With effect from today we have implemented an automated daily check for every employee to confirm their current health status. We remain vigilant regarding workplace cleanliness through regular disinfection, and clear guidelines have been issued to all employees to ensure protection and prevention.

Our client operations continue without interruption. Following the stabilisation of the rate of infection in China and Hong Kong, our employees in those locations have resumed office work and continue office rotation arrangements to reduce the risk of possible exposure.

If we can do anything to support you further during this critical time, please reach out to us directly via your usual TMF Group contact or using this link

Regards

Mark Weil
CEO, TMF Group
