Why Egypt?

Egypt has the largest population of any in the Arab world and is the third most populous on the African continent, with around 100 million inhabitants. Its diversified economy is the second largest in Africa and the 33rd largest by nominal GDP in the world.

After a period of stagnation economic conditions have started to improve due to the adoption of more liberal economic policies by the government. Egypt is one of the largest recipients of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa.

The dynamic growth of the Egyptian economy, its strategic geographical position, low labour costs, skilled workforce, unique tourist potential, substantial energy reserves, large domestic market and the success of the reforms undertaken by the authorities (including a privatisation programme) make it a highly attractive jurisdiction to do business in.

Our core area of expertise

Our team of professionals provide accounting, tax compliance, corporate secretarial, and HR and payroll services to local and multinational companies.

We can get you set up, provide a single point of contact and take care of those non-core elements to keep your business moving, while you focus on what you do best: selling your products and services. By taking the burden of the back office and centralising it through a single provider, we work with you to increase efficiency and help strip out any unnecessary costs.

Our full range of services include:

  • Accounting and tax services: local statutory bookkeeping, full consolidated accounts and management reporting to relevant local and international standards. We also help manage your tax and reporting obligations.
  • Global entity management services: we provide support at every stage of your business lifecycle. Our multi-disciplinary expertise - in corporate secretarial, regulatory compliance, fiduciary services and more - is your outsourced answer to managing and maintaining entities across borders.
  • HR and payroll services: we help you to apply and implement international policies in employment contracts and handbooks, and pay your staff in compliance with local law.

Local services

In addition to our global portfolio of services our office provides additional support for specific local requirements:

  • guidance on foreign ownership restrictions and other local requirements
  • guidance on choosing the right type of entity for incorporation
  • post incorporation registrations such as VAT registration and registration with social insurance authorities
  • tax guidance on corporate income tax, withholding tax, value added tax, excise tax, e-invoicing, stamp tax, payroll tax, property tax, Double Tax Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), Permanent Establishment (PE) and any other applicable taxes.
