TMF Group-sponsored Island Walk raises £140,000 for local charities
The Trustees of the Around the Island Walk, sponsored by TMF Group, today announced that this year’s event has raised GBP£ 140,000 for local causes. This achievement brings the total amount raised over the walk’s 34-year history to £3,083,000.
The Island Walk is organised and run by the trustees of the Around the Island Walk Trust to raise and distribute funds for local charities in Jersey.
This year, 10 charities received funding from the event:
- Autism Jersey
- Family First
- Jersey Eating Disorder Support
- Arthouse Jersey
- St Andrews Church
- Tiny Seeds
- Air Training Corps
- Les Amis
- Salvation Army
- Caring Cooks
The Trustees have recognised the contributions of the Rotary Club de la Manche, local Scout groups, and Girl Guides, whose continued efforts were essential to the success of the event. Special recognition as Island Walk Heroes was given to the Jersey Land Rover Club, for their logistical support, and to Hayley Dewar for leading the breakfast stop over many years. Recognition was also given to Marcin Mietelka and Jersey Fire and Rescue, who completed the route in full firefighting equipment.

The 35th Anniversary Walk will take place on 20 June 2026. Early Bird registration opens in mid-January 2026. Charities wishing to be considered as beneficiaries for the 2026 Walk are invited to apply. The application forms and all the details are available here.
