TMF Group awarded EcoVadis Silver Medal for a second year; rated in top 11% of companies in its sector for ESG
TMF Group has retained its ESG (environment, social and governance) silver medal with an improved rating for 2022. It is awarded by EcoVadis, a leading, trusted provider of global business sustainability ratings, as well as intelligence and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains.
Backed by a powerful technology platform and a global team of domain experts, EcoVadis’ easy-to-use and actionable sustainability scorecards provide detailed insight into environmental, social and ethical risks across 200+ purchasing categories and 160+ countries.
The accolade positions TMF Group among the top 18% of companies using the EcoVadis platform, and in the top 11% of companies within its sector (Legal and Accounting Activities).
The assessment highlights TMF Group’s ethical practices as a particular strength – rating the company within the top 2% of companies in the same industry. This recognises the high standards established by TMF Group in how the organisation governs itself and its commercial activities, through robust policies, processes, training and controls. This result is particularly important given the role that TMF Group plays in supporting good governance for its clients.
TMF Group’s second-highest scoring category is in labour and human rights, which reflects the support the company provides to its employees, evidenced by consistent improvements in colleague engagement, as well as Great Place To Work certification in eight countries. It also recognises the commitment to the communities where TMF Group operate, investing in social entrepreneurship through our partnership with Ashoka and supporting colleagues and their communities in times of crisis.
Environmental, social and governance concerns are of primary importance to my colleagues and I at TMF Group. As such, we are constantly working to improve the sustainability and social consciousness of the business and expect to build on these results with further advances in ESG in the coming year. It is an honour to be the recipient of the silver medal for the second year running.
